On Wednesday 27th September, Slindon once again visited Petworth to take part in a tournament against Petworth, Fittleworth and Northchapel.
This was the first outing for our year 3/4 team and all 9 were a little nervous.
The children played three seven a side games. The first against Northchapel, who they managed to beat 5-0.
They then came up against the mighty Fittleworth, putting up a good game and finishing 3-2 to Fittleworth.
Then the final match was against Petworth, the children worked exceptionally hard and they drew 0-0.
At the end of the tournament the results were:
1st Fittleworth
2nd Slindon
3rd Petworth
4th Northchapel.
Again, the children played exceptionally well and showed real sportsmanship.
