On a beautifully sunny day, Mr Coyle treated each class bubble to a sports day like no other. In their houses (Gumber, Courthill and Gaston) the children competed for points. They threw bean bags at targets; shot footballs in goals; jumped hurdles; raced through ladders and sent javelins soaring through the air. This was followed by the traditional running, sack and 'egg' and spoon races. And finally, the presentation of cups for the most improved sports person and team player in each class, not to mention the sports person of the year. Oh, and of course the cup for the winning house - on this occasion: Courthill. Thank you Mr Coyle, we all had the best day!
