Sports Relief Week

On Monday the 19th March we began a week of daily challenges in aid of Sport Relief Week.

On Monday we began with 'Cardio Day', though we were soon distracted and began a snowball fight instead! Just as good a workout as we had planned!
On Tuesday it was our 'Dance-a-thon' and more than a few shapes were thrown across the school, yet Miss Cooper still cannot 'floss'.
On Wednesday we were lucky to have two visitors. Leah from Albion in the Community helped us with our challenge for 'Football Day' and Catkins class had a special visitor as part of their 'Everyone Active' Huff and Puff program.
Thursday was 'Racquet Day' and we set challenges such as 'how many times can you keep the ball bouncing in the air?' We loved table tennis so much that it will stay out for the rest of the year for us to enjoy.
Friday was 'Cricket Day' and we excelled in our Cricket challenges, which is no surprise as Slindon has hosted cricket matches for a very long time!

Huge thanks to all our visitors for making the week so enjoyable! Well done to all the children, parents and staff for getting active, having fun and raising money for Sports Relief.
