Slindon Apple Day

The Slindon National Trust Apple Day
2016

On a cold, sunny Saturday, children from the school joined the local community at the Forge Field for the National Trust's Slindon Apple Day. Children in Gardening Club had picked the apple crop from the school's orchard, and this was taken to the Apple Day to be turned into apple juice.  It was hard work crushing and pressing the apples, but the apple juice produced was worth it.  All of the children in the school were able to try the apple juice the following week and opinion was split about whether or not it was as nice as the apples before they were crushed.  Why not ask one of the children what they thought?
