4. Enabling Environments

At Slindon Church of England Primary School, we are incredibly fortunate to be situated within a most beautiful National Trust village. We make full use of the woodland and open space that surrounds us to enhance our learning at every opportunity. Learning Outside the Classroom is central to our ethos and extends to journeying and exploring learning opportunities beyond our local environment- you can find out more about this in the ‘Learning Outside the Classroom’ tab. We are enabled by our environment not just by our surroundings and ethos, but the climate for learning that we create within our school. A calm, organised and safe environment where we understand that learning is a never-ending journey.
