Fishbourne Roman Palace

On Monday 23rd September, Acorns visited Fishbourne Roman Palace and Gardens. The children had a fantastic time and discovered so much about the Romans.
In the morning the children got to imagine they were back in the Roman times by taking part in lots of engaging activities. They learnt how to grind flour, write on wax tablets, dress up in Roman clothing and build arches using key stone.
In the afternoon the children admired the amazing mosaics and looked around the fascinating museum. The children also looked around the stunning gardens, which were beautiful.
