Owls About Town visit us!

18th September 2018

Today we were very fortunate to receive a visit from Andy and Kory from 'Owls About Town' and their 'Parliament' of Owls. This was perfectly timed for Catkin Class who have just started reading 'Owl Babies' as part of their 'Where do I belong?' topic. Of course, we had to share the wonderful opportunity with the rest of the school!
Andy told us all about how he cares for his Owls, allowing us to interact with them while we learnt more about their protection and conservation.
We know we have at least one Owl in the school grounds, so Andy left us lots of feathers, information and even Owl pellets to dissect to help us find out more information!

Thanks Andy- we had a wonderful morning!
