Hazel class have had a fantastic start this half term. Our topic for this half term is Pole to Pole and we will be exploring the world and finding out about the Arctic and Antarctic.

We have already read a book called ‘The search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish’ by Chloe Savage. The story is about Dr Morley who is searching for the elusive Arctic Jellyfish. We will be creating a diary entry as Dr Morley and the ups and downs she experienced on her journey.

We are focusing on Plants for this Science unit. The children will be investigating and learning about different plants and how they grow and reproduce. This will give them a good opportunity to work outside in our beautiful grounds.

In RE we are considering the Easter story and the resurrection of Jesus and how important this is to the lives of Christians.
