In Chestnut class we will be studying the Ancient Greeks and discovering the many things we have to thank them for: art, sculpture, architecture, science, medicine and mathematics to name but a few.
In maths our focus at the start of the term was perimeter and area and we are now learning to use coordinates to plot position and direction.
In English we will be learning about the adventures of Odysseus and later in the term we will be reading Greek myths and using them to inspire poetry writing.
So far in science this term we have been learning about the solar system and are enjoying learning about the planets in our French lessons.
